The South Transcept
Situated to the right of the church as you look
towards the main altar, the south
transcept is home to the church's war memorial chapel. The memorial
was carved with great skill by a local craftsman, Mr J. Hind and
was unveiled by the Bishop of Peterborough in 1923.
The altar in the memorial chapel is fashioned
from a seventeenth century table and mounted on the walls of the
south transept are memorials to parishioners from the church's past.
These photographs show the south transept from
various angles as well as showing the altar and the smaller wooden
reredos.
