The West End
The west end of the church is most commonly associated
with the font, as the main feature of the west end is the large
stone font.
Above the west end is the tower which houses
the bells, evidence of which can be seen in the tower door at the
back of the west end and the signal bell rope which descends from
the ceiling.
Other than the font there is little to see in
this part of the church, although the panelling on each side wall
of this area is interesting to note.
The Tower
Perhaps the one place that is seen least by visitors
to the church is the tower. Home to the bells which are regularly
rung, the tower as it stands today was built in 1870 replacing one
that fell two years earlier after a thorough restoration.
