The Churchyard Opposite the west door of the church is a memorial to another local family. John Sydney Crossley was the engineer for the railway line which runs through Barrow-upon-Soar. The lych gate and the reredos in the church, are also dedicated to his memory. This stone cross is made of Jurassic Limestone.
